From my earliest memories, they opened up God’s Word, teaching me with patience so His voice could still be heard.
They showed me by example how to walk in your way, Trusting in you Father each and every day.
With love they helped me grow, with kindness they would pray, pointing me to you Jehovah through the choices they would make.
Now the faith they planted deep within my heart remains, and every day I’m grateful that they taught me your name.

Mom and Dad taught me God’s name.
They trained me in the ministry so I could do the same.
Now I love to tell others of Jehovah’s loving way, sharing hope and happiness with every word I say.
Thank You, Jehovah, for my parents’ loving care.
Because of them, I’ll always share Your name everywhere.

Now I walk beside them as we share the Kingdom news, praying that each householder will listen to the truth.
Every smile and scripture is a seed of hope we sow, trusting that Jehovah gives them growth we cannot know.
No matter where life leads me, one thing will never change:
I’ll treasure all they taught me and honor Jehovah’s name.
With every heart that listens and every friend we find, I’m thankful for my parents, who helped me love mankind.
