Thanking You, dear Jehovah, for showing constant care.
Though we often fall short because of Adam’s painful choice,
You still invite us near and listen to our voice.

Your Word lights every pathway when this old world grows dim,
Your promises remind us that sin will never win.
We long for that new world when sin has reached its end,
To serve You with pure hearts and never grieve You again.

When we’re no longer sinful, and our God will never hurt again,
The pain of disappointing Him has made our lives grow dim.

I am so, so sorry, Jehovah, if we’ve saddened You today.
