Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Monday morning we start our day,
A cup of coffee and we’re on our way
Working a 9 to 5 our week is long
Can’t wait to get a break, to hear our favorite slow songs

Now it’s hump day we’re halfway
To enjoy our time together maybe getaway,
I am missing my baby. Can I get a call maybe
We’re working so hard for little pay

[Chorus]
When we get home from work and it’s time to unwind
We turn on the radio and listen to slow jams all the time
We start to sing along, to our favorite song
We start to slow dance, it feels like nothing can go on

So put on your slow jams, and jam the night away
So put on your slow jams, in the house we will stay

We love our slow jams, slow jams
We love our slow jams, slow jams
We love our slow jams, slow jams
We love our slow jams, slow jams

[Verse 2]
Now Thursday came around and I’m trying to calm down
Because I know the weekend is almost here
We start to make plans to have dinner and a dance
Maybe stay home and slow it down
Instead of running around town

Now Friday is here
I get to spend time with you, my dear
Let’s put on some slow jams
Because the weekend is here

[Chorus]
When we get home from work and it’s time to unwind
We turn on the radio and listen to slow jams all the time
We start to sing along, to our favorite song
We start to slow dance, it feels like nothing can go on

So put on your slow jams, and jam the night away
So put on your slow jams, in the house we will stay

We love our slow jams, slow jams
We love our slow jams, slow jams
We love our slow jams, slow jams
We love our slow jams, slow jams
